The Real Reverse Ick Thread

So tell me what a date did that made you think they might be the one.
I met my now DH when I was a horse mad 21 year old who’d just got her first horse. On our second date he gave me a packet of polos for said horse. Definitely a keeper.

Mine was a work night out, he was in the same building. We was out with work lot together and we just clicked from there. Went on date the next day, went to a restaurant. Was best thing we did. That was 2 years ago.

The first time he came for dinner with my family, my now DH sat down on the floor and played endless rounds of Ludo with my very shy niece and made her giggle loads. I knew he was a keeper then.

We have known each other since teens but didn't get together till late 20's.

We had been seeing each other for a month or so, I had mentioned I had a huge mirror I needed to put up but it was just too big to do myself and I didn't know what fittings etc.

That weekend he arrived at my door with tools and fittings and put it up for me.

It was strangely thoughtful! 10 years later he still shows love through this type of action, he likes to do things for me! It could be a brew in bed or some DIY I mentioned would be nice!

This thread is alot shorter than the ick threads. Either people don’t do as many nice things or we don’t remember them.
