Cheap hairdryers

Are the cheap Dyson knock offs style on Amazon any good? I need to get one with a diffuser for my curly haired daughter but don’t have much money.

I got one of Amazon for about £36 apparently it was on huge discount and it set on fire!
I received a similar one as a gift and it just wasn't made to manage anything besides fine straight hair it would cut out all the time so I just gave up and ditched my fancy diffusers and stuck to my reliable diva hairdryer and universal attatchments

I would avoid buying random brands from Amazon that try to be a copy of Dyson. You can get some reasonably priced hairdryers from reputable brands from shops like Boots or John Lewis.

We have a cheap hairdryer from Primark, with diffuser attachment, that does an alright job of dd2's curly hair (think Merida from Brave kind of hair). I think it was only about £12 ish & we've had it about a year so far.

My last one was also from Primark for about a tenner & lasted maybe 6 years ish. We don't use it much between us so didn't see the point spending more.

I agree. The ones on amazon will look like a Dyson but they won't behave like one.

This week, I've been removing wall stickers from a bedroom wall and I've been using all three household hairdryers so I don't burn my own out and they are so different power and heat wise. One of them is useless.

My DD's have curly hair, I'll have a look and see what theirs are.
