@DinoRodney I love the staircase in the isle of Bute one.

That island is my happy place, there’s a whole lot of properties I would buy - realistically though I’d go for something more modern, less likely to be a money pit.

That Stirling house is amazing but too far from the station to be feasible.

Op I would never buy one huge house.. I'd rather have a few flats and houses world wide or just have two bases and live in hotels.
