Brace for second degree torn ligament (knee)

Appreciate some advice - have very annoyingly torn the ligament in my left knee whilst skiing (second degree). Have been given a big plastic full length brace (Donjoy x-rom brace) by doctor here and instructions to keep weight off for three weeks. I’m told it doesn’t require surgery.

However - I’m a busy working mum of two young children; this is not compatible with everyday life!

Would really like to know if I can swap this for a neoprene brace once I’m back in the UK and if so any recommendations on type and where to buy.
I am currently looking at this https://www.upmedical.co.uk/products/hinged-knee-brace

thank you!
