Very sad - I loved him in S & H.

Used to always watch S&H on a Saturday night with my kids. Very sad news.

I remember him campaigning for Martyn Bell when he was standing in Tatton after the Neil Hamilton affair. Imagine David knocking on your door.

Silver lady was a cracking song. He was a huge part of my generations early years with Starkey and Hutch and Salems lot. Very sad.

Another who had a huge crush in the 70s (I must have been about 10!)stayed up late to watch S&H, and loved Silver Lady and Don't Give Up On Us, Baby.
