Has anyone else been to see Sunset Boulevard?

O.M.G
Blown away.
I've been to well over 40 musicals as my adult son has autism and his special interest is musicals. But today we went to Sunset Boulevard and it was hands down the best thing I have ever seen.
Nicole Scherzinger is incredible. I knew she could really sing as I've seen her before but she can really play insane ! I think the hair was standing up on the back of my neck from her first note...and the rest of the cast were equally amazing.
It's going to Broadway and I think I need to find a way to get a long weekend in NY....! (I can dream!)

Yes, I saw it and thought it was amazing. All of the cast were fabulous and the style/production was so clever. Loved it!

A friend saw it and said it was incredible!

Hi just saw it tonight!
Wow! And I say that as a not particularly big fan of Nicole S.
I have seen quite alot of musicals but she really was special!
As much as I went off Andrew Lloyd Webber after his treatment of Bad Cinderella cast, he really can write a tune!

I saw the matinee today and really disliked it although I know I am in the minority! I love the musical, it’s one of my favourites but I hate what Jamie Lloyd has done to it and I thought NS was terrible as Norma, no stage presence or star quality. She sang well but where was the acting? The finale was good though I’ll give them all that, why weren’t they directed to act throughout? I’ve seen several productions of SB and this was by far the worst, they have taken away all that is great about it IMO.

Tom Francis was great though, I’m sure he has a bright future ahead and the score sounded incredible - hats off to the amazing orchestra.
