Penrith recommendations please!

No idea if there’s a better place for this post? Someone please correct me if so 😊

Have a stay at Centre Parcs (Whinfell) coming up. It’s about a 4h drive from us and visiting with a young child so I’ve booked a hotel in Penrith for the night before so that we can make full use of the first day at CP instead of driving that morning.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Penrith for a nice meal the night before? It falls on a family occasion so somewhere “nice” but family friendly would be ideal 😊 Also a Sunday do a nice Sunday roast could be an option?

George and Dragon at Clifton or Horse and Farrier at Dacre are just outside Penrith but good and do good Sunday lunches. In town itself, La Casita (tapas), Four and Twenty
