Lidl app rewards now even worse

I just checked the Lidl app and this month for spending £150 you are rewarded with a bag of sweets!

It's just so disappointing, I used to do most of my shop at Lidl when the rewards were worthwhile but this is just a joke. Sweets are virtually worthless in financial terms and a bad influence in January anyway when people are typically watching their health. And many people won't be able to use it at all. Last month it was a cleaning product which at least has some value and is more universally useful.

I suppose they just wanted to persuade people to install the app so they could scrape their data and knew most wouldn't bother deleting it.

Morrisons is awful too. Barely anything to earn points on. Asda isn't too bad and Tesco is ok too

I also think getting a free Batt's item is really cheap of them, thanks for the 59p jar of ginger I guess.

They also haven't re-added the Vemondo coupon this week, last year they added it each week, or at least 3, of January for the vegan products (which are also scaled down).

Yes, something has changed with the latest update. I also can't see all of the upcoming offers any more, so I used the site instead.

I'll probably uninstall it as my own tiny protest.

The Asda app is terrible too. You used to have milestone missions where you earned £1 a couple of time, £2 and then £3 and £5 for spending so much (I think it was £100) over a couple of months. Now you can only earn £1 bonus's and I bet its the same threshold spend. The only other way to earn any money is by star products - thanks for the 25p on my £80 shop haha
