This morning an interviewer said
'Thank you so much' to his interviewee and I couldn't hear the phrase in anything other than Basil Fawlty's voice being extremely sarcastic to one of his guests. Are there phrases that have their meanings changed for you based on the way they have been used in a programme/film?
