Have you started a book yet?

I haven't! Not sure why I have such a mental block when I used to adore reading

I've got so many books I want to read but I have chosen one that fits my mood at this time.

I think todays the day that I start it...

No and it's because of my phone. I came to bed with a pot of tea and a book and didn't open the book. I need to get over the phone addiction.

This was exactly my problem too.
As of 1 Jan I've left my phone downstairs and gone to bed 20 mins earlier than normal (new routine) and read for 40 mins or so.

Have slept so much better and finished first book of the year!

I can't believe how many books some people can get through in a week/month/year. I normally read for half an hour before bed and for hours at a time if we're on a fly and flop type holiday. I finished a book last night which I had found hard going and ultimately a disappointment. I probably should have dumped it but I'd invested quite a bit of time by that point so thought I'd finish it. So tonight I'll pick something that's more exciting and a page turner to get me back in the groove.

Great idea @Xiaoxiong I'm going to try reading first thing instead of scrolling, probably on phone as it will still be dark and don't want to disturb OH too much.

I read very, very quickly, which probably makes a difference. I’m a gobbler. Also an insomniac!
