Yoto or Tonie

Which is more appropriate for a 7 year old- a yoto or Tonie?

For a 7yo I'd say a yoto. They have more longevity. Toniebox is wonderful but probably more suited for younger children with the figures etc.

I was going to buy a Tonie for mine, never heard of Yoto.

Thankfully, they were bought a Yoto as a gift and I'm so glad.

The figures look great, but not as practical for storage and the screen and nightlight on the Yoto is brilliant. It is meant to grow with them better, too.

Yoto grows with them more. My 3.5 and almost 2 year old both have them and they are great. Have white noise on them, radio Yoto, they had 24 days of stories free leading up to Christmas. They love picking and sharing their cards. Eldest got some Enid blyton cards for Christmas.
