After a LTR, how long did it take you to meet someone else?

Going through a bad breakup.

I'm just curious to know how long it took for you to meet your current partner/DH after a LTR. I need hope.

I was with XH a total of 15 years. Met my OH 11 months later. Started OLD after 5 months (friend encouraged me). I wasn’t ready. It wasn’t great. It was 10 months before I really liked anyone and that went pear shaped quickly! I declared I was giving up then had ‘one more go’ before Christmas, met OH 😂
I didn’t want to move on quickly after I split from XH. I needed time to process it all and grieve it. I would never rush to meet someone new again. It was only when I’d started to work out what I really wanted in life that I met someone.
