DH drinks and drives

He lies about it but I know he tends to have 3/4/5 pints and drive home.

How can I get him to stop? If we werent reliant on his wages I'd call the police. He also works for my father so that would land DF in a lot of bother if he couldn't work (and he needs to drive to work)
What can I do? DH lies a lot so simply talking to him about it doesn't work as he swears he's not done it.

Fwiw we are getting marriage counselling as things are pretty rock bottom already.

If he won’t listen and won’t stop there’s only one option.
He could kill or maim someone.

I think I would have to report him. What if he killed somebody and you had done nothing?

You have to report him. How would you feel if he injured or killed someone.
