Royal mail deliveries

hi, i didn't know where to put this thread, but i have a disabled persons freedom pass which was mailed out to me on 13th December 2nd class.

I still haven't received it and was thinking if i should call them, cancel it and ask them to resend it?

Are others facing long delays with royal mail?

The posties were told to prioritise parcels , especially in the run up to Christmas. We get post no more than once a week though. I’d contact the sender and ask them to resend.

Not sure where Bluevelvetsofa is but we’re in the same situation, the posties have been told to prioritise parcels over letters.
I know the situation here - Kent - has been reported on local news, not sure if any of the nationals have picked it up.
Might be worth seeing if your sender will resend either by RM Special Delivery (I don’t think that’s been affected here) or even courier.

I contacted freedom pass who said they can only ship passes 2nd class. I even offered to pay for delivery and they said there is no such option to send it any other way.

Also one of the local sorting offices closed down a while ago so its a long journey to my local one, about 45 minutes by bus/train, and i live in London.

I will wait till Friday and if it doesn't come i will ask them to resend.

Perhaps go to your local sorting office and collect yourself?
