Vinted help please!

Novice to Vinted, asking on here so I don’t seem like a dick. Is it acceptable to ask to refund if something doesn’t fit?
it was advertised as shoes size 39 EUR size 6 UK but the box says 5.5 UK, weirdly the label inside the shoe says size 6 however the shoes are too tight.
I would obviously pay postage fees but if it’s a no no will just look to resell.

Only if the item is incorrectly advertised, if the shoes are labelled a 6 you can’t claim they’re not as advertised - just relist them and sell back on

It might not be the original box for those shoes. If the label on the shoes matches the original description I wouldn’t ask for a refund as poor fit is just one of those risks you take with a second hand platform. You could relist them yourself and note that it runs small, more like 5 or 5.5 or whatever.

Its happened to me twice and I just resold the items.

As the shoes say 6 then they’re not falsely advertised so you can’t send back. You’ll be able to resell them on.

the box could be a different box, I had shoes turn up in a cornflakes box from vinted 😆

anything that doesn’t fit I always resell on…and normally make a profit too 😃

Off topic but I recently found out you can take shoes to Timpsons and they can professionally stretch them as long as they are not leather 😊

Do you mean as long as they ARE leather? Many shoes can be stretched, but leather shoes are the easiest as they have natural give.
