Virgin Radio London - Ryan Tubridy

Did anyone listen to Ryan Tubridy on Virgin Radio London ?
His first broadcast on the station was today.
He's a radio and tv icon in Ireland but there was a messy controversy over payments from the Irish national broadcaster RTE and he departed.
Just wondering what UK listeners thought.
I used to listened to him on his radio show.
Patrick Kielty has taken over Ryan's TV chat show. I rarely watched the chat show.

Following as I am also interested to know what others think of Ryan's show. I prefer Patrick Kielty as a presenter and also thought Ryan came across really badly in the payments scandal.

I enjoyed him when he used to sit in on Radio 2 for Chris Evans...

Anyone listen in London ?
His show is also being broadcast in Ireland on local stations.

There's a lot more music on his show than the one he used to broadcast in Ireland.
One listener from Northumberland asked him what his favourite castles were. He listed off a few hotels set in castles in Ireland.
I think she meant castles as in Buckingham Palace, Leeds Castle, Bleinheim Palace, Alnwick Castle, Arundel Castle, Chatsworth etc. 😂

I'm not surprised he's playing more music as he was only for an hour was it on Radio1 and now he has to cover 3h! I'd say he's having a big bag of jellies now to toast the first week being over!!
