Wondering what things are costing

we are looking at a single storey extension to the back of the house. On a slope so I assume will need to add some more foundations

anyone done this in the last year? Size and cost?

I’ve been quoted £3k per sqm for building work and £2k per sqm for decorating (London). Scrapped my extension plans after that so can’t give you any more info sorry!

Ours came in at around £2.2k per sqm (east of england). That was with the project starting in October 22, took around 6 months.

was quoted 80k just for the build so not doing it. Plan to move soon & in this economic climate don’t think we would get the money back & I think the money could be put to better use.
