Oven didn't light

I put a chicken into the oven at half 4 for an hour an half. It's a gas oven. I checked on the chicken just there and discovered that the chicken didn't cook and the gas went out.

I have ventalition now in the kitchen. I didn't smell anything.

Will the chicken be good to cook now.

yes it will be fine.

Chicken will be fine. Most gas ovens will cut out if the flame isn’t lit.

Will the gas keep going?

It is a new gas cooker about 5 months

If it's that new it will have a fancy device that means that if it doesn't light the gas flow will stop. So you are safe to try lighting it again. Your chicken will also still be fine to cook as it will have been in a fairly cool place unless you think the oven has gone out part way through.
