Dimple on the areola

i noticed a dimple on the areola when I life my arm up. I am currently breastfeeding my 7months old and I don’t know how long it has been there. When I feel the area, I don’t feel any lump or thickness. I have an appointment with the Dr tomorrow but I am very scared as everything I read online about dimpling is very scary. I will attach a picture in comments. Has anyone had any sort of dimpling on the areola?

You've done the right thing to contact the GP and get an appointment. Hopefully, it's nothing and is because you are breastfeeding, but you haven't ignored it and got an appointment as soon as you've noticed. I've been to GP/breast clinic several times, so I do understand the worry. Each time, I was convinced of the worst-case scenario, and all has been fine. Hope all goes well with you.
