Crockpot help please! Digital or standard?

Hi, as per the above, I’m on the cusp of buying a crockpot but not sure if going digital is worth the extra! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I bought a standard one last year Status, about £40. It is dead basic and easy to use, just switch on the knob high or low. Previously I had an all-singing all-dancing James Martin electronic one. It worked fine but the bowl cracked and I couldn't get a spare. The seal in the lid perished and I couldn't get a spare...you get the picture. The keypad was easy enough to use, the keep warm function was handy but not often needed.

I have the standard mini one. Just switch to high, low or keep warm. Works fine for us.

I have just upgraded our last digital crockpot to a better digital one, 5.6 litre. It is brilliant as I can schedule the end time of the cooking and it can also do it manually with a countdown timer. I can also schedule in advance when I need to food to cook.

Would not be without it at all.

We have a normal one but do have it plugged into a smart plug so I can turn it on and off from work or whatever

Fabulous! Think the standard might be better for me then as I’m home anyway so setting a timer for it to go off isn’t really top of my agenda!
