Question for people with kids at school in Manchester

Hi - when do your kids go back to school?

Council website says Tuesday 2nd but I know schools sometimes have teacher days, so I wondered what date the kids actually go back.

Schools have different teacher training days. You need to look on your specific schools website for the most reliable information.

If they broke up 15th, probably 4th
If they broke up 22, 8th more likely.

We live in the midlands and we’re visiting Manchester, kids here don’t go back till the 9th, just wondering how busy places will be.

Not quite in Manchester but broke up 22nd back 9th

Seems to have been really mixed. We're just over the Manchester border but I've got friends in Manchester whose kids broke up on 15th and the 22nd, so some are still off for longer than others. Trafford schools broke up on 22nd, so not back until next week.
