Does anyone know anyone who stopped believing in conspiracy theories

.. after getting sucked in to believing them fully. My experience is that this is a one way street and people simply don't change their minds about this stuff.

My DB has been down the rabbit hole for about 18 years, but is usually able to function normally and doesn't tend to insist on sharing his very weird beliefs. He's just managed to ruin Christmas as he no longer appears to be able to get along in a normal fashion. I just don't think it will ever change.
