what do you wear on NYE?

Going to a local function room with a live band for a party tonight
and looking at what to wear. I'm not a trousers person. I love
this dress, always makes me
feel a million dollars when I put it on as it fits so well and is so flattering. (I'm a short size 14/16)
It's more of an occasion dress. How do I dress it down? Ballet flats? White trainers? Leather jacket over the top?
Or should I just wear an LBD as per usual?

Pjs! We don’t go out (had planned to this year now my kids are older but we’ve just moved house) i think thats a lovely dress and it’s NYE so if you can’t dress up when you are out when can you?
