What do you make in them and are they worth the investment?

There have been so many threads about this topic already. Try a search?

I do most things in my air fryer. I hardly use my oven now. Things that take 25 mins in the oven take about 8 mins in the air fryer so I think it's a worthwhile investment as it saves energy. You don't need to preheat an oven and have it on for ages for a few fish fingers. All that sort of stuff cooks very quickly and comes out better than it would in the oven. I'd suggest getting one with 2 drawers if you have a big family.

I have a health fryer thing that was given to
me when they got an air fryer and I love it for the reasons already stated, things cook quicker, no need to wait for it to pre heat and chips are so nice in it

Thanks for the replies. What can you not cook in them? I do a lot of chilli/spag bol sort of things so I'm guessing they can't be done in there?

No you wouldn't want to do anything like chill or spag Bol in an air fryer, even if you could it would make such a mess and be a lot more faff than using the hob.
Just think of it as a mini fan oven.

"Just think of it as a mini fan oven."

This. Mine is just a mini oven, our main oven is quite small so the extra space is welcome. It crisps things up really nicely, has a rotisserie and a tumble basket thing both of which work really well. Doesn't use much energy for heating up small portions of things. Teens seem more willing to use it than the main oven for reasons I don't really understand.

Look in your local charity shops, I got a ninja airfryer for a tenner, from one of mine.
Had it not been so cheap I would never have bought it.
