So sick of the rain!!!

This winter has been so bloody wet!!! The fields and park have been permanently under water. Nowhere to walk the dog. Nowhere to take the kids without spending. As soon as it starts to drain, in comes another load from the river or the sky, and it's straight back up. Coat soaked through every time I go anywhere. I'm really sick of it.

I could not agree with you more! So fed up of the mud everywhere. Dirty shoes, dirty car, dirty patios, arghhh

Amy Stewart for you young'uns.

I've started leaving a couple of towels by our front door so when we get in from work/school runs, we can dry off. However I can't complain as Iove the rain, I won't deny it's a pain in the ass! Our roof leaked last month, the river near my house flooded, the roads are flooded and I got soaked through several times on the way to work this month but it's still so lovely to walk in the rain and listen to it

I feel the same, I’m so bored of walking the dog round and round the one field that isn’t a total quagmire, neither of us are getting much exercise. I’m sure it hasn’t been this bad in previous winters - would really love some frosty crisp mornings.

Yes I agree. Soooooo much rain. The ground is just thick churned up mud everywhere. And it just keeps on raining. When will it end?

I scream about this everyday with others, I live in NY and ALL it does here is rain! Can’t do anything ever because of it. Can’t wait to move the hell out of this state.

I was drafting this post in my head!
I'm over it all!
I've always been a "let's just get out and not let the rain spoil it" type of twat.

But this is to much. Its all fucking day every day.
It never stops.
It's relentless.
Its ruining everything. There's only so many times the kids want to go out and get freezing cold and soaking wet.

I was literally saying this to dd best friends mum the other day, this last y3ar has been awful. Especially on the south coast, if they tell us there’s a drought they can do one. I’m fed up of both my jackets being soaked, taking 3 business days to dry, I’m fed up changing clothes left right and centre after the school run and taking the dog out. I’m fed up of my floors getting absolutely disgusting.

I love the rain as it helps with my fishing. Sometimes it makes the ground a little muddy but I guess that's the whole excitement of being outdoors in that type of weather.
