…you came back home from a holiday, and discovered that your cat had not puked somewhere in the house.

I’m sure it must have happened once, somewhere, to someone…. I would just like to know that it can happen.

Ours go into the cattery, so every time 😃

We went on holiday once and when we got home, I could smell something off.

After looking around (at 2AM), I found that one of the cats had caught a mouse and left it on the power supply of some tech which was plugged in and ever so slightly warm.

The mouse was effectively cooking and it had burst open with maggots wriggling around in it.

It was completely stuck to the power supply.

I was just a bit sick in my mouth remembering this ordeal and hope I have won the thread.

I only had to deal with a bit of grassy sick-up in this occasion so I got away lightly, but ffs every single time it’s like an evil version of a treasure hunt.

Thank you, you've made the £100s I have shelled out on cattery fees seem suddenly, sweetly worthwhile.

Every time we come back from holiday we arrive home to a perfectly curled cat poo in the bathtub plug hole. Literally never poos there any other time but when we go on holiday, clearly it’s party time 🥳

Not a cat poo but related. Left eldest son in charge. Ran out of cat litter. Couldn’t be bothered to buy a bag so filled the litter tray with mud. Obvs the cat had used the tray then walked mud all over the house x
