Is there such a thing as a sofa cover type thing?

I am changing my colour scheme but can't afford a new sofa. Is there such a thing as a big stretchy piece of material that can cover a sofa ? I know you can get the type of thing for dining chairs but I've not seen them in sofa size ?

Any ideas?

If you know the brand and model of your sofa, try googling, or Etsy-ing them and "replacement covers".
