Slow cooker meal recommendations please

Have just got a new slow cooker and can’t for the life of me think of ideas other than stew and chilli. Have got a 12 week old baby that isn’t keen on napping so would like to try and use it a couple of times a week to batch cook.

Any suggestions for what is nice to do in the slow cooker greatly appreciated. Years ago on here someone suggested a chorizo and bean stew and I enjoyed that but can’t remember the recipe.

Thanks in advance

I came on to say Taming Twins (I make the lamb curry - but use beef, regularly and it's so good!) but also the Bored of lunch slow cooker recipes look great!

I do Sausages and Bacon Lardons in a bbq sauce with baked beans stirred in. I make the BBC GFG BBQ sauce.
I also make a chicken curry. I buy the Goldfish Chinese Curry Paste. Fry chicken and onions and put in slow cooker. I then mix a dollop of curry paste with a tin of chicken soup and add to chicken and onion. Also do Pork curry but add curry paste to tin of tomatoes instead and fry mushrooms and peppers with the pork and onion.

You can cook a chicken in the slow cooker. I cook on low 7h- delicious. U could throw some roast potatoes on.oven and steam some frozen veg if u short of time- quick meal. Gammon in Coke ?

Have made the Taming Twins Chicken Satay many times - delicious

Soak a piece of gammon in water overnight, then put it in the slow cooker with a child's carton of apple juice, a few peppercorns and a sliced onion. Cook it on low for 6 hours.

If I'm working from home, I put it on at lunchtime and it's perfectly cooked by 6.30pm. Serve with jacket potato or mustard mash, coleslaw & tomatoes/salad.

https://www.nigella.com/recipes/slow-cooker-lamb-and-pasta (the mint and feta sprinkled on at the end really lift it to another level).

These are great:

As is this… (Waitrose and Morrisons are best to get cheeks). This site has a few other great sc recipes.

The taming twins sc doner kebab is good too.

Often chuck a gammon in with some chopped onion and carrots and a load of either cider, apple juice, coke or pineapple juice. Or a chicken sat on a veg trivet with a good glug of white wine or stock in the bottom to make gravy from.

Theres another (not nearly as good😬) mums forum that has a recipe for a really great sausage and onion casserole. Sorry mumsnet, I won’t link😳 please forgive me for mentioning it, but it is delicious. It has a big dollop of chutney in it that I think is the secret to making it so tasty.

Slow-Cooker Lamb and Pasta

Admittedly, making a meat sauce and then cooking pasta in it is very un-Italian, but it is dee-lish. Plus, it goes down a treat with children and teenagers and thus makes a great family supper. I love it served in shallow bowls and sprinkled with chop...

Bolognase, curry, sweet and sour chicken, Chinese Beef and Broccoli, lamb tagine, bbq pulled pork, are a few ideas. Difficult to go wrong with a slow cooker, there are so many recipes online and if anything particular comes to mind you can usually find a recipe online for it.

Thank you all so much. Looks like lots of yummy recipes to try

Another vote for taming towns. The pulled pork is a favourite in our house. It’s cheap and really versatile- brioche rolls and coleslaw, with rice, loaded nachos, fajitas/ enchiladas, with wedges and corn etc.
