Am in a bd mood today. Probably because Christmas and end of year has been meh and below expectations.

DC out today so am at a loose end. DH has filled his day with stuff to do re hobbies and I’m so bored is making me cross.

i don’t often feel like this but I’m feeling really frustrated that my own life is boring.

ant thoughts on what I can do to change for better or do I just need to count my blessings and give head a wobble (have had v tough year so be kind if is the case)

I have a six year old at home so can't really fill my days with hobbies but I can very much relate to the feeling bored to tears and being in a bad mood the last couple of days. The weather is shit, it's dark at 3pm, skint from Christmas so can't really pay for activities, just no motivation to do anything. Ugh

It's a bit like when someone says "I can't find my keys" rather than "please help me find my keys."

"I'm bored" is just something you acknowledge. If they want help or they want you to play with them, train them to do that. I made a list of ten things to do when you are bored, and if they asked, I gave it to them. After that, it's their problem. Of course, if they want some attention, tell them when they wil get attention.
