Thawing cooked turkey

I took some cooked Turkey slices out of the freezer this morning, to use in a noodle dish tonight. Turkey has been in the fridge but won’t be defrosted by the time I need it.

can I cook it while it’s still a bit frozen ? ( obviously ensuring that all the meet will be reheated fully)

Personally I wouldn't. I did the same two nights ado and have had D and V since.

I decided to cut it up into smaller pieces (which I was going to do anyway) , to help it defrost more quickly. Seemed ok by the time I was ready to use it after another couple of hours in the fridge.
I then boiled it in some stock before using it.

I never worry if meat is a bit frozen when I cook it as long as the temperature is high enough and you cook for long enough. I sort of assume its like a frozen ready meal?

Ideally obviously it should be completely defrosted though. And I know a lot of people are really strict about this which is probably a better approach. But I wouldn't panic.
