Bosch Dishwasher install help !!

Anyone know what on earth this is ??? The instructions aren't clear so we're stumped !!

From memory when my own integrated bosch dishwasher was installed it is for sound insulation. It goes behind the kick plate at the bottom. The kick plate should unscrew for access.

It's a shield for water /heat.

There are diagrams with the instructions that show you what tip do. Ours folded from under the door to under the machine like a skirt. It stuck on with little sticky tabs provided
