So now the gifting part of the festivities are over, please can you share which gift was the most well received, and who was the recipient?
Shamelessly nabbing ideas for a mental (well, ok… actual!) list for the coming year, with lots of ‘big’ birthdays within the family.

Our teens got a 5ft pool/air hockey table last Christmas, and it was in constant use by them and friends and family throughout this whole year so I would say that has been the best gift for all the family. It has been played non stop over this festive period, everyone had a game or five 😄

DD really likes her fake Stanley cup. Keeps tapping her fingers on it, and clanging keys on it, just like TikTok 🤣

I got my niece a friendship bracelet making kit as a bit of a joke present (she's 16!) as she's going to see Taylor Swift.

She loved it and has bought two more kits as she's making so many bracelets!

The card game skyjo. The kids are literally obsessed. Also received last year but still being pulled out all the time!

A giant squishmallow type cushion for dd. It runs the whole length of her bed and the squeal as she opened the package and it exploded out was pure joy.

The mini arcade machine from Flying Tiger was a big hit too.

We’ve enjoyed playing Mount Cleverest this year.

Two very cheap games - one is magnetic and you have to get rid of all your pieces without attracting any other magnets, the other is a plastic balance game a bit like Tetris.

Dd2 got a vanity desk & matching stool. She's practised various make up and hairstyle looks every day - she was even more pleased when her biggest birthday gift was a Hollywood mirror to go with it 😊

I'm also well pleased with it - the fact that it has drawers & I bought organisers for them has tidied her room up immensely!

Not a present but I bought Christmas crackers that each had a had cardboard reindeer in them, five pieces that slotted together. Loads of fun making them and mucking about. A big hit!
