Last-minute gift for parents who live in Spain?

My parents are in their late 70s and I need to think of a present for 6th Jan. It doesn't have to be a physical present but I simply have no idea what to do for them. In the past, I've given them a magazine subscription but I don't think that was very successful. I've also bought them theatre tickets and a restaurant voucher but, although they made the right noises, I got the impression they felt they felt obliged to use them. I have no idea what to get them at this stage. They live somewhere rural and have a very simple life. Any thoughts?

they will want something practical

So ask them outright what you can get the. to make their life easier

Cheese and wine subscription is a great idea!

Thanks! A coffee or cheese subscription could definitely work! I wonder if you have any recommendations for one based in Spain?
