Advice for friend, can you help

My friend has found out she's pregnant but can't keep the baby.

How would she explain to work she needs time off for a termination?

If there's a HR department, she could tell them in confidence. If not, either use annual leave or pull a sicky.

I had one back in 2016, I had it done on my day off and called in sick for a couple days after, I think I said it was a urine infection, people don't really question that.

I only needed a couple days off physically, after the second day it was just like a period. I didn't prepare for the mental/ emotional toll it would take and ended up on anti depressants. I don't regret my decision but that doesn't mean it was an easy one to make.

Make sure your friend takes care of herself mentally too x
