Passport renewal times

Hi, we were given a surprise trip away in feb but need passport renewals for 2 of us.

Should I pay the fast track or do people think 5 weeks will be long enough? Thanks

applied for sat 13th
they acknowledged receipt of old passport wednesday 17th
new passport arrived tuesday 23rd.

That's within 10 days (not working days), a child renewal which apparently on average take longer than adults.

Impressed!
