Uniqlo sizing for babies/toddlers

There's a nice sale at Uniqlo at the moment and a few baby/toddler clothes that I like the look. But the sizing chart is pretty confusing! Does 6-12 months on this chart mean upto 9kg or from 9kg?

If it's upto then have people found Uniqlo come up small for their children? 9kg is the top end of 6-9months on most baby clothes. How have you found Uniqlo clothing for children?

I’ve bought clothes from Uniqlo for my 3 year and I have found the sizing generous. Most shops like M&S he is in 4-5 but 3-4 Uniqlo still fit well.

@YellowVelvet111 thanks was it length or waist/width you've found it generous? I often need to size up for body and leg length in their clothes and i've heard Uniqlo are a faff to return so want to get it right. 😂
