My cat was treated five days ago as having a urine infection (blood in her urine etc). She received An antibac jab at the vets, and I’ve been giving her 2 x medicine per day since. The vets told me blood in urine should stop by 2-3 days. It’s day five and I think there may still be blood (double checking tomorrow for various reasons). If there is still blood we have to go back for a urine sample. What else could it be? The vets just said if it doesn’t get cured by the antibac it may be something more sinister. She doesn’t have any other symptoms of a urine infection really either :( she’s full of energy as normal! She did do a few weeks outside the litter box, well she went in, but her bum was still sticking out so the urine missed the box slightly.
