Doritos dip disaster

I went to Sainsbury's to get the ultimate combo of blue Doritos with sour cream and chive dip but they didn't have any dip.

No worries, I went to my corner shop and they also didn't have any.

What they did have was some minging looking guacamole Doritos dip instead.

I went to Sainsbury's online. The sour cream and chive dip is no longer listed. Went to Tesco - not listed there either.

What is going on?? Surely it can't be discontinued. New Year's Eve ruined!

It all started with peach Barcardi Breezers.

I will never be entirely happy with Black Magic chocolates again until they bring back the Hazelnut Cluster.

Never tried it but it's still on Ocado! It let me add one to my next order so it definately still exists

The dorito jar stuff is awful. You need the "fresh" stuff. It's literally 100% fat plus chives.

I know! I don't know what I was thinking. I think I was under some sort of illusion that natural yogurt negated all the big fat crisp calories.

If you want to be healthy, the mild salsa dip is basically your five a day.

Only goes with orange Doritos though.

YABU as everybody knows the best dip is the 4 in 1 packs from the chiller section where one of them is always basically thousand Island dressing and the other 3 taste pretty much the same as each other.

This should be added to all religious texts that exist. It is The Truth.

I just looked up the 4 dip chiller combo and it's got guacamole in it so that's already 25% wasted.

The stuff in jars is vile and not worthy of sitting on a Dorito! Buy some proper, fresh dips or make your own!

The Doritos salsa is better than the salsa I had in my tesco quad pack, but worse then anybody's nacho cheese flavour dips.

Proper sour cream and chive dip > doritos version. Room temperature servage is acceptable.

The correct doritos to eat is always the blue ones.

I'm glad that's sorted.

1 person (the winner) to scoff the whole section of the thousand island stuff.

7 others (the losers) scavenge the remains of the other 3 sections.

If you're going to be eating the garlic and onion section, you'll find yourself alone quite quickly. That's a pretty antisocial dip.

Nah, they taste of feet. Orange Doritos and hot salsa is the way forward.

I was going to say that surely orange Doritos are closer to foot flavour than blue.

I might have some chili heatwave this evening, the only Doritos that don't really go with dip.

Are you my DH? If he likes anything it’s discontinued within a month. He’s warned not to like anything I like 😂

My dirty dorritos secret is instant cheese sauce....the stuff that looks like gravy granules... Make it up really thick, and then dunk away! Goes well alternated with salsa for each chip.

Absolutely morish!

I wouldn't dream of using it anywhere else, and can easily whip up a proper cheese sauce from scratch...but for dorritos instant really hits the spot!
