My friend's daughter has just got engaged and I want to give a voucher with the card. Giving an engagement gift is completely usual where I come from, although I know it isn't everywhere, it is here.
I've known my friend for years and obviously know her daughter as a child, have met her fiancé once. I am going to get a voucher but not sure how much I should spend, I don't have an awful lot of cash to splash at the moment. If you give engagement gifts, how much do you tend to spend?
