I have £500 can anyone find me a few nights away this week?

I have been gifted £500 from my dad (bless him)

I really want to jump in the car and go away for a couple of nights…must be dog friendly for 2 adults 2 children between 11-15

Literally no idea where to start

Not fussed could be anywhere in the uk

Have a look at holiday cottages uk page on Facebook. Put on there what your budget and requirements are - eg walking distance to beach/pub/kids play area, how many bedrooms, within two hours drive of X, and you'll get loads of options I bet.

Our friends stayed in this cottage the other week. So many places to visit, Lake District, the borders, Carlisle. Very cosy and dog friendly and very reasonable

This is lovely, and not too far from York for a day out. Pet friendly cottages and a pool as well. Website mentions a minimum stay but it might be worth giving them a call. lowcostamill.co.uk
