Yes if you're using a keyboard that you can't silence

Well you can't hear if it's a touchscreen can you? Cos that doesn't make a noise.

But for example if you type on a keyboard on a computer that makes a noise.

It can if you've keyboard sounds turned on in Settings. Most people tend not to.

What's your concern OP?

Skethylita · 27/12/2023 19:34

I can, yes. It's usually an uncomfortable sound since it's tapping close to a speaker.

TheShellBeach · 27/12/2023 19:35

Not if you swipe.

SausageCasseroles · 27/12/2023 19:54

So if I type a message on mumsnet for example like now...

Or type into Google.

I cant hear it - I've not got sound effects on. But wondered if you'd hear the "tapping" on the phone?

Asking as I have very long phone conversations with a couple of people where I'm just listening really....

Or also if I want to Google some details (like go into my diary and find a date) I will tell them but wondered if they can hear it.

This is what I was hoping not!
