Should I make us leave the house?!

We’ve been indoors several days although at a different house Christmas day. No one is bored but I feel like I’m meant to make us go out occasionally!
Im shattered and happy catching up with rest - although I do like a walk.
Kids are enjoying new gaming console.
How many days in is acceptable in your house?!

How old are the DC, could you leave them at home gaming and go for a walk?

Arbitrarily leaving the house is pointless. If people are happy, leave them alone.

They could stay home alone. I might go out early tomorrow while they are still in bed.
I’ve had a lovely lazy day today although I did walk to a local shop to post a couple of parcels.
Children ended the term ill and tired and are looking much better today. I think lazing around has been needed.

I really hate staying in and tend to do a long walk every day but the weather today is pretty grim. If you're all happy it's fine.

We are slap bang in the middle of Storm Gerrit right now with trees coming down, roads flooding and just hoping our power stays on so no venturing out for us!

Usually though, 3 days is my max for indoor life during Twixmas then I have to get out even just for a short walk.

In full hibernation mode here. Not been out since Chrismas Eve. Big lie ins each day (except Christmas Day), late breakfast, late lunches, late dinners, sitting round a lot eating chocolates, drinking wine, doing puzzles, odd bit of housework, lots of snoozes. I love it for a few days in our own little Christmas bubble! Have no desire to go out for a walk in the dreary grey drizzle and wind. Different if it was sunny blue skies and frosty.

That's it for now though, going out to the retail park tomorrow morning then dropping in for a coffee at the inlaws. DS and girlfriend are going out to town.

I get cabin fever so I've had a lovely long walk and a play at a very windy park with the kids for the last two day 🤣.
Refreshing and a nice warm brew on my return is just what was needed.
