Who gave whom the cold?

I appreciate this is an impossible question but humour me.

DH, DC and I all seemingly fairly well in the run up to Christmas Day. I'd had a sore throat a couple of weeks ago, but my voice was back to normal by the end of last week. We've had on and off coughs for the last couple of months but I remember thinking last Friday how miraculous it was that we were all seemingly well in time for Christmas.

DB & DM arrived on Christmas Eve, with DB not feeling great. Yesterday DM felt unwell and DC2 was sneezing. Today DC2 has a full on cold and I'm coming down with one. DB blatantly had a cold and cough.

DB can do no wrong as far as DM is concerned and says DC must have picked it up at nursery last week and spread it.

AIBU to be a it annoyed that he's made us all ill? I know it's not provable, but we're so careful these days, and other relatives have not come for Christmas due to illness.

I think I just need to vent as DB has been like a bear with a sore head anyway and they invited themselves to stay for longer than DH and I would have chosen.

You did - you’ve been carrying the bug about for a couple of weeks and too many people in a room without ventilation gave it life 😀

Impossible to say.
I wouldn’t be pleased with an ill guest turning up!

However, hanging around with young children is a sure fire way of catching every bug going.
Hope you're all feeling better soon.
