Getting to sleep with a cold

Came down with a cold on Christmas Eve - first one for a long time!

I've barely slept since between sneezing, coughing and the dog waking me (presume she thought I was going to die in my sleep!)

I've been resting in the day, taking on lots if fluids, paracetamol, honey and lemon, nasal spray etc.

I'm working tomorrow and would really like to get a few hours more sleep tonight. I'm quite clammy, a bit less bunged up but cough is getting quite chesty.

Any tips?

Currently sat up in bed so hoping I'll doze like this....

I have a small glass by my bed and gargle with whiskey neat, I find that numbs the throat and stops the coughing.

Hope you get some rest.
