Felt terribly unwell yesterday and wondered if anyone who’s conceived could advise?

Hello, I woke up at 4am yesterday with this pressure in my lower middle right back and felt very feverish and really sick, like I was about to throw up for two hours. It was horrid. It wasn’t actually sharp pain but it was this really uncomfortable pressure.

DH asked if it was constipation but I think that’s usually lower down and on the left. Also, the extreme hotness and nausea leads me to think the feeling was related to an organ rather than a muscle or constipation.

The other thing is that I’ve been ttc for over a year (with zero success). Has anyone ever had these symptoms during implantation? The internet says cramping can happen and I’m wondering if that was what the pressure was (although it’s the wrong area).

It stopped after two hours and hasn’t come back. Although I am very tired and feeling ropey today. I didn’t drink yesterday so it’s not hangover related. Do you think it could have been a trapped nerve, my right kidney or implantation?

Gallbladder?

I didn't feel anything like this when DS was conceived, it's highly unlikely you'd have a sensation in your lower back or nausea at such an initial stage. My bet would be on something gastro-related.

Oh gosh, there’s another thread similar to this in which people are telling the OP it’s their gallbladder! I think I should see someone about this. My Mother had her gall bladder removed so maybe I’m more at risk. It would explain the pain-it was a really weird pain like nothing I’d felt before. Thank you for your replies!

Sounds like your gall bladder.

my mother in law had a pain in her back, which turned out to be a problem with her heart .. please don't ignore it.

I didn’t get much to drink yesterday (it’s a long story to do with demanding children and a reactive dog at my host’s house meaning I couldn’t get drinks). Could my gallbladder have been temporarily been affected by being dehydrated and hopefully I won’t get gallstones or need my gallbladder removing?

I’m trying to be chill and not worry because I am prone to health anxiety. But as you say, it doesn’t pay to ignore what could be serious symptoms.
