How to automate online shopping

I'm due to start a new job in January and one of the things that takes me ages each week is meal planning and then doing the online shop. Is there a way to automate this as much as possible, for example having items that are always added to your basket each week, or even having the exact same order each time so you only need to make a few changes? What do you do to make the weekly shop as stress free as possible? Thanks!

Ocado will do this for you. You can book a regular slot and make a list of regular items, choosing how frequently you buy them. Think it's called Ocado reserved.

Morrisons do that as well. You can have regular items added weekly/fortnightly etc.

Amazing, thank you! I will look in to it now.

Wanted to add, you can use chatgpt to come up with meal ideas and tell it to create shopping lists too.
Or tell it what ingredients you have and ask it for meal ideas along with recipe links.

Asda has a button to order again on your previous order.

Ocado. You need to use the website to set up the things you want every week, two weeks, month or two months but I love having the same slot every other Friday evening with the basket half full of things I know we're going to need, just need to add bits and pieces on my phone. It was a LOT better before they joined with M&S (so much processed and over packaged stuff) but still ok.

Fab thank you. And a question re Ocado in case you have the answer - if you have the premium delivery then can you have more than one delivery a week? Can't seem to find the answer online.

@Bing4859 sorry no ideas about delivery and passes - we only have shopping every fortnight. Same slot for 5+ years I think, but never had the same driver twice.
