I have an 8 year old daughter who really struggles to get to sleep. I want to help her with this and looking for ideas and tips.
She has always been a bit of a night owl and I think her natural circadian pattern probably runs later than most kids her age. But I’m really worried she just isn’t getting enough sleep now.
we don’t really have a set bedtime routine, and looking on the internet, that is probably a big part of the problem. I’m going to sit with her to agree what her bedtime should be like with nice calm things she can enjoy and relax. I’d love to hear any ideas for things you do or any other suggestions for how to help her get to sleep.
