I'm watching Die Hard (believe it or not never seen it before!) and it gave me a terrible fit of the giggles when the amiable policeman thought nothing was wrong and was about to leave then suddenly got a terrorist land on his car :)

Watched it yesterday (for about the 99th time) I love it!

Morrisons02 · 26/12/2023 01:37

he was lucky the car went off the drop part, otherwise pickles

Morrisons02 · 26/12/2023 01:38

Plus on warzone call of duty, they put the tower building in the game so it was almost similar to the film but with soliders instead

DC1888 · 26/12/2023 02:05

GoingDownLikeBHS · 26/12/2023 02:38

I was kept up by my neighbours fucking flashing Christmas lights but lucky me they turned them off at 2am. By then I’d given up and gone down to get tea only I have quite bad reflux I'm not supposed to have tea after about 9pm. So now I’m thinking soon as I lie down accciiiiidddd! 🤦‍♀️

Teasie123 · 26/12/2023 02:40

And honestly tonight, I really am glad of the peace and quiet of nighttime.🤭🤭🤭

WitchyPoos · 26/12/2023 02:43

I've been asleep and woke up. I'm in work at 8 playing dangerous games here.

Raspberrymoon49 · 26/12/2023 02:47

Haven’t been to sleep yet, watching trash TV and eating biscuits

Teasie123 · 26/12/2023 02:49

Just right raspberry!!! We all need some downtime!!🤗🤗🤗

Raspberrymoon49 · 26/12/2023 02:53

Yes @Teasie123 i always need hours to decompress at the end of a day and even more so today!

Teasie123 · 26/12/2023 02:58

Exactly, just like so many people out there. But no one says how stressful it is or how exhausting and expensive it is. We just say, it's Christmas. So we have to be happy and peppy and upbeat. But flip!!! It's exhausting!!🤭🤭🤭

TyneTeas · 26/12/2023 03:07

Teasie123 · 26/12/2023 03:07

Supposed to be going to Gatwick and skiing tomo but wide awake with anxiety about the whole trip. DM’s funeral only 10 days ago but DH sort of forced the trip. I’m ai tired with grief. He wants to go away. I can’t sleep with the exhaustion of it all. I won’t ski either, just going as childcare really. My shoulder is very painful. Long term injury that got a lot worse. First Xmas without DM and I did it all. Completely shattered but supposed to get up tomorrow and organise the kids and make DH happy. No one ever seems to think about my happiness. Sorry for rant. So tired and so fed up. Being a DM is shit ar times.

MariaVT65 · 26/12/2023 03:17

Yep. Got a newborn and a non-sleeping 3 year old. Hardly slept for 2 days. Got up at 2.30am to take over from DH. Exhausted.

Alan Rickman is the best!

Teasie123 · 26/12/2023 03:26

Awe... I ve been there. Really feel for you 🥺

Holly2285 · 26/12/2023 03:34

Yesterday exhausted me so I went to bed early. I have now been awake since 2 and got up to try and sort my poor kitchen out before do it all again today. My brain won't switch off

Teasie123 · 26/12/2023 03:49

Quirkyme · 26/12/2023 03:54

Still up, wishing I someone was here to give my head a good scalp massage

Teasie123 · 26/12/2023 03:54

🤣🤣🤣🤭🤭🤭

Tonight1 · 26/12/2023 04:00

@JaffaCake24 I'm sorry, that's really tough. Is your husband supportive generally? It does really sound like you need to rest and be taken care of.

Finished Die Hard so will try to settle now. Yikes it's 4am! It did give me vertigo with that high rise building
