Can you use a Meta Quest without a PC or console? Or any other VR headset if the Meta Quest is a no?

Stand alone, set up ours today with just mobile, but you can hook it up to pc for more games.

It's worth getting a headstrap for it because the one that comes with it is dreadful and hurts your face.

I have the bobovr strap which you can clip an extra battery to, it counterbalances the headset making it even more comfortable plus gives you a few extra hours play.

I've used my headset most days for the last 3 years and love it.

My dd likes the roller coaster, Roblox, i expect you to die (which is better for teens), beat saber and gorilla tag.
I love wander!!

@buckeejit what sort of games do they like?
If they like Fortnite then they'll enjoy Population One, if they want music based ones then there's Beat Sabre or Synth Riders which are good for exercise too, puzzle games are the Room, Moss, Red Matter, I Expect You to Die which are all good fun but you'll only really play them through once so it's worth waiting until they're on offer as they only take a few hours to complete.
Dungeons of Eternity is good too, it's a new game and they've got lots of updates planned, you can play that solo or in a team of 3.
I always seem to end up back in Rec Room though which is free, there are loads of game rooms in it, some made by the people who make Rec Room and others that are made by people who enjoy building games. My favourite is Paintball where there are two teams of 4 who have to either get the other teams flag back to your base or first team to 50 kills. Over time you get to know the maps well so find the good hiding spots or where the decent weapons are.
One thing to watch out for though on any multiplayer game is bad behaviour and language from fellow players, some can be utterly vile. You can set parental controls on them and do things like have voices turned off so they can't hear others but obviously you lose the experience of chatting to others which can be great fun if you end up in a lobby with friendly players.

My son has telephone quest 2 and we found out yesterday he can't access his roblox account on it because when he set it up on his laptop, he put his date of birth as 2020 and once this happens it can't be changed! We've had to create a whole new account jist on the vr.
Gorilla tag is good fun. I'm wanting a rollor coaster game. Kinda want a go at rrsident evil but I prob shouldn't put that on his headset in case he access it
