For those of you that are alone today, what are you up to and what are you cooking?

I've been playing video games, watching my fave shows and just relaxing. I'm going to cook a pasta bake with turkey mince ❤️

Sounds nice @Octowussy! I'm just trying to start eating again after illness and snuggled up on the sofa with a huge duvet (I sometimes get lost in it) and also watching fav shows.

Had a good day really. Went for a walk along the sea front and was a lovely atmosphere with people running, dog walking and swimming. Lunch was meh, with greasy roasties that have given me heartburn..so sitting quietly with a herbal tea now 😁. All in all a better day than previous Christmases. Best wishes to all you other loners.

Had a very quiet day. It was raining, so I wasn't going out. Finished a cardigan I was making and repaired my cats' scratching post. Watched dvds from late afternoon and had lasagna for dinner.

I actually had a really nice day, total opposite from last year, where I was being threatened with addiction from a terrible landlord and in the process of buying my home… And trying to deal with so much. I am severely visually impaired and I’m now living in Greece, to today was the first day in my new home for Christmas. Greeks don’t give gifts on the 25th, they gift gifts on 1 January, so today is more about spending time with people and having good food. It was a sunny day, but I was up till 7 AM putting stickers of Christmas themes on my windows, and setting the table, so I slept for most of the morning… When I woke up, I went for a coffee in the sunshine, and the coffee shop gave me a cheesecake. When I got back home, I just made a small meal of pasta that I bought yesterday, Greek salad, and then a small dessert plate with a banana, orange, donut with chocolate and some of the cheesecake. The pasta was really awful though, so I ended up remaking it, and then I just listen to Christmas carols, read for an hour, and chilled out. I haven’t heard one peep from any of my family, but I actually don’t mind, since they are not always the most pleasant people to be around, and I think I can manage on my own.
